Horse Committee, Jane Kopperl
Jane Kopperl- I am a Graduate ‘A’ and Life Member from Pemigewasset Valley Pony Club a past member of the United States Pony Clubs. I participated in the Pony Club Visiting ‘A’ Program in New England and Colorado while attending Colorado State University. I was a ‘working student’ with Denny Emerson (eventing), Lendon Gray (dressage), and Suzie Palmer (eventing/equitation) through my high school years. My primary focus was three-day eventing, but had the opportunity to ride with a variety of instructors in the disciplines of dressage and hunter/jumpers while attending and competing on the Varsity Riding Team at Oldfields School in Maryland. I qualified and rode in the 1982 Young Riders National Championships held at Radnor Hunt Club, Radnor, PA, which was the same year I qualified for the Maclay Equitation Finals held in NYC. I have groomed for several riders at events ranging from Ships Quarters and Fair Hill (MD) to Rolex Three-Day Event (KY). Professionally, I am a practicing Landscape Architect, licensed in Colorado and Wyoming and I am the proud parent of two Golden Gate Vaulters.
