Warm Beach Vaulters were invited to perform as part of the Draft Horse Extravaganza for this year’s State Fair in Monroe, Washington. The Extravaganza runs for four days and features all breeds of draft horses in driving and pulling competitions. Each night twelve vaulters and three horses performed to the crowds amazement and delight! Two nights Warm Beach was pleased to also present guest performances by Mary McCormick. The program opened with “fireworks” followed by Compulsories performed on horses cantering in two circles simultaneously. Next the spotlight was on a single horse and vaulter performing their individual Freestyle. The highlight of each night was either the C or B Team performing their Team Freestyles.
The Draft Horse Extravaganza was followed by three days of Rodeo performances. Warm Beach Vaulters provided the pre-show entertainment for each Rodeo. Their performances were so well received that the Rodeo management asked Warm Beach to travel the western states next Spring to provide all their pre-show entertainment!
