USEF/AVA National Championships
WHERE TO STAY
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS We have secured special rates at several local hotels.
Please see the attached spreadsheet for hotel information, contact information, distance from the competition facility, etc.
When calling the hotel, mention American Vaulting Association National Championships (AVA) or use the specific code noted on the spreadsheet.
CAMPING and RVs
- Earl Warren Showgrounds: There is limited RV parking available on site for $40 per night (see RV Lot on Map) The RV Manager, Tamara, suggests to make reservations early. Ask not to be charged until 60 days out and then it will be non refundable. They take reservations starting in January. Reserve early as space is limited; spots for large RVs is very limited. There are no showers near the RV areas, only by the stalls. Click here to download the form and click here for the credit card authorization form. - El Capitan State Beach: Offers camping and parking for campers and trailers. This is a state beach so book early. For further information see: www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=601
- Rincon Parkway: Old Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura County. 127 parking spaces are available for Recreational Vehicle (RV) use. Tent camping is not allowed. All campsites are offered on a first come, first serve basis only. Reservations are not accepted. - Santa Barbara Tourist Hostel: www.sbhostel.com/ Fully equipped hostel only steps from the beach and Downtown State Street, with great views of the surrounding palm trees and mountains.
